SSA is excited to announce that we are partnering with Training Haus this spring to offer Sports Performance Training to help get our athletes prepared for the upcoming soccer season!

The Sports Performance Training is designed to complement the high-end skill development Shakopee Soccer athletes are receiving on the field and to prepare each player to compete at the next level.  Training HAUS will work with each player to become a complete athlete by assessing overall join flexibility, stability, mobility and functional movement capacity.  The Training HAUS program will work on the following:

Running technique

Strength

Speed & endurance

Fast twitch muscle fiber recruitment

Proper neuromuscular firing patterns

Recovery/dynamic stretching

Training will run Tuesdays and Thursdays February 26 through May 12 (2x per week, 20 total sessions)

4:00-5:00 p.m. 9U & 10U Boys & Girls

5:00-6:00 p.m. 13U & 14U Boys & Girls

6:00-7:00 p.m. 11U & 12U Boys & Girls

7:00-8:00 p.m. 15U-18U Boys & Girls 

Cost: $350 per athlete
Location: Training HAUS-Shakopee 1225 Fuller St. South (located on the 2nd floor of the ice rink)

TC Sala Academy is a 10 month program that trains throughout the year and competes in several Academy specific events as well as USYF Regional/National tournaments.  We are completely club neutral and our players represent many of the top clubs and programs from around the state of Minnesota.  

We were recognized as one of the top Futsal Academies in the country last year having 9 teams qualify for the USYF National Championships in 2023, 3 of which advanced out of group play, 2 of our teams finished as National Champion Finalist (2007 Boys and 2010 Girls) at the 2023 National Championships.  

In addition, over 75 TC Sala Academy players have been selected to either the first team or the alternate pool for the USYF International Teams that play in International Competitions over the past 5 years.

We are ready for another year of development and can't wait to see our kids competing on that stage again.  Players will need to attend a tryout to be selected for an Academy Team and tryouts will be held in November.  We are planning to field teams for boys and girls from U9-U19.  

TC Sala Development Centers are the foundation of TC Sala and support training environments all around the metro.  Each Development Center will include 1.5 hour training sessions for kids that are looking to further develop their futsal skills. Sessions will focus on individual development and include best-practice training techniques used with our USYF National Teams. Whether your focus is making the USYF National Team or just improving your overall game, this is a great opportunity to learn from some of the top futsal instructors in the area. All sessions will be led by current United States Youth Futsal National Coaching Staff member Brian Catrine, 'The Maestro' Fernando Jimenez, UNW Head Coach and USYF Minnesota ID Staff member Greg Wheaton, USYF Minnesota ID Staff member Aaron Lindquist, or former United States Mens National Futsal Team Captain and current USYF National Coaching Staff member Todd Dusosky.

RESIDENTIAL SOCCER CAMP

La Escuela Mundial de Futbol is designed for players who are seeking a serious futbol / soccer environment within a team setting. Each day focuses on specific individual / team technical and tactical aspects of the game. La Escuela Mundial Residential Camp promotes that soccer and learning are fun and that it takes hard work to excel! La Escuela Mundial will educate players through hard and fun sessions in which players actually learn WHY they should use the basic techniques on the field. Players that attend will walk away educated in the importance of fundamental techniques and advanced concepts of the game, the basis for their future development and taking their game to the Mundial (World) level! Goalkeeper training is also offered at camp!

Futsal

Futsal is more than just an indoor soccer game: it is the tool used by clubs around the world to develop great players.

Futsal is played on smaller space and hard surface, with a smaller weighted ball than regular soccer ball. There are no boards to bounce the ball off as in indoor soccer. Quick, short passing and ball control is the meat of the game.

Famous players around the world like Ronaldinho, Marta, Ronaldo, Robinho, Juninho and many others honed their early foot skills while playing Brazilian Futsal.
