Winter Training

SSA’s Winter Training

A high desire to improve will be a shared a characteristic amongst players in this group. Sessions will be organized and adapted to accommodate progression players are expected to make.  Groups will be separated by boys and girls and each gender will have ability based groups, or pools of players. 

Shakopee Soccer wants to prepare players for advancement to the highest levels of soccer

Building a strong base at a young age is critical to future success. While we will continue to provide a great environment for all soccer players, as our club continues to grow, this additional environment is needed for players looking to pursue the highest levels.  A primary goal of Winter Training is to prepare players with the skills required to be highly successful on their Spring/Summer Teams. In addition, the program is also aiming to improve a player’s chance of identification within MYSA’s District Select and ODP (Olympic Development Program).
