Updates as of 4/28/2021

We are currently following MYSA guidelines which are below.

The Minnesota Department of Health’s guidance for youth sports guidance is linked here:

COVID-19 Organized Sports Practice and Games Guidance for Youth and Adults

Face Coverings

Players are not required to wear a face covering while actively practicing or playing outdoors. Players are required to wear face coverings when they are not actively practicing or playing and cannot maintain physical distancing.

Referees are not required to wear a face covering while actively refereeing, though like players, are required to wear face coverings when not actively refereeing and cannot maintain physical distancing.

All other participants (coaches, administrators, facility managers, spectators, etc.) shall continue to wear face coverings whenever 6 feet of physical distance cannot be maintained.

This loosening of the face covering requirement comes with a strong recommendation from MDH to conduct weekly testing. If weekly testing cannot be achieved, MDH recommends that players continue to wear face coverings at all times (including while actively practicing or playing).
