Due to the new restrictions shared by Governor Walz last night, all SSA activities starting November 20th have been suspended for 4 weeks.
Winter training scheduled for tonight (Thursday November 19) is still proceeding as planned for anyone that is comfortable attending. Please verify your child or other family members are not showing any symptoms prior to having your child attend.
For those interested in at home drills you can do during quarantine, here is a link to our page from earlier in the year.
After Governor Walz provides his update, the SSA Board and staff will be in communication with each other to discuss the new restrictions and what this means for SSA activities.
We’ll also reach out to MYSA, TCSL, and other clubs for any clarification and or to share interpretations of what the new policies are.
We’ll provide updated communication to the group regarding immediate activities as soon as we have made those decisions. We’ll also be in discussion about what activities can take place and will share these updates as we learn more.
As a club, we’ve navigated the challenges of COVID-19 for over eight months and we’ve become more knowledgeable and better prepared to adapt to these changes. We will continue to strive to keep you as informed as possible throughout these changes with timely updates.
Thanks for being a part of our club and for cooperating with our safety guidelines.
