The nomination period for board elections is open through August 31st.  We have four positions open this year who are elected by attendees of the Annual General Meeting. Each elected board member serves a 3-year commitment. We are hoping to fill them all with dedicated volunteers who love soccer and are interested in giving back.

If you are interested in running, email secretary@shakopeesoccer.com before August 31 to nominate yourself. After nominations are closed, we’ll ask nominees to submit a brief personal statement on why they would like to serve on the board which will be posted on SSA’s website. 

Voting will take place by SSA Rec and Competitive members in attendance at the meeting. Prior to the vote, nominees will again have a chance to address voters on why they would be a great candidate.
