Shakopee Soccer Association

TOP Soccer is a community based soccer program designed to meet the needs of children with physical or mental disabilities.  The program is geared towards player development, training, and meaningful participation rather than on competition.  It is meant for children 8 years and older. Participation for younger kids will be considered with parental involvement.

Team Formation

Teams will be formed based on participant ability rather than by age.

Schedule

The Top Soccer season runs May-August on Sunday afternoon/evenings.  Sessions alternate between practices and games.  Practices are most likely going to be in Shakopee (or possibly in Edina or Eden Prairie).  Games will be in Eagan.

Cost and Registration

The cost to join Top Soccer is $25 per player, which covers the cost of playing as well as insurance.  Checks should be made out to MYSA.  Registration form can be found below.  Please print it, fill it out, and mail to the address listed on the form.  Scholarships are available upon request.

Coaches

All coaches complete background checks and receive training in working with children with disabilities.  If you are interested in volunteering please contact Ivan Woyno at MYSA (see below).
