1)   What happens to the current coach?  Current coaches will be looked at and place at the appropriate level for their coaching- same as currently being done.

2)   What will change with try-outs? They will run the same and it is extremely important for players to attend as we will be forming new teams at many age groups

3)   Will we only know where teams lie after tryouts? We cannot say right now where each team/player will be placed.  If we said where each team would be and where each player would be then you would have to questions any clubs tryout process.

4)   Can a player still play up and not down?  Players can only still play-up but must first attend there specific age tryout and then tryout out for the older age. We will follow club policy on play ups!

5)   Will there be some age groups that jump a small sided group?  Yes some ages will leapfrog a year on the field size ( August – December months)

6)   What is a build out line?  Small sided mandates go into effect is 2017 and they are still finalizing how all this will work and where it will be. A build out line will be a line that will encourage playing out of the back field instead of kicking the ball down field by the goalie.

7)   When would a decision be made to keep a team together?  The four coaching directors will meet prior to tryouts to say that will be an option for a particular team.  Primarily for older teams as if we don’t do that they may not have a team

8)   If we cannot fill a team would we ask a player to go play in a different club?  We would look at this as a team by team basis and ask area clubs where they stand and do we need to be combined. We want to make sure we provide all options for all players.

9)   Does this affect junior high and high school program?  This is only for club soccer not school soccer

10) How will this affect the older kids- Would older kids miss a year of soccer?  Still to be determined by MYSA

11) Where will kids play in fall soccer?  Kids will play up an age group in the in fall just like prior years.  Each fall season kids always move up to the next age group in preparation for the summer season.
